Strange Vacation Choices
If you are thinking of going to stay in the normal kind of self catering Sussex where the smell of bark mulch fills your nose more than anything else why don’t you look at somewhere a bit more unusual? Well cottages are fantastic places to stay in there is no doubt about that its just you may want to stay somewhere a bit different this year?
Windmill
Well like the title suggest this is a bit of a strange one to stay in but there are many places you can look to stay in one. Some of the best are located in France and there are many that even have swimming pool. So many of the windmills out there that you can stay in date all the way back to the 17th century, perfect for history lovers.
Loch Ness
Yes, there are many places around the lake that you can stay and once again they date back from many centuries ago. They have of course all been updated now and there are many additional features to these hotels. Tennis courts, golf courses and cricket pitches are available. There are tours that go across the lake, is the Loch Ness Monster really made up?
A Yurt
A lot of these places are actually sustained by the environment around them which really is amazing when you think about it. The streams around the place provide the water and the sun gives the hut all the energy it needs to be powered and you can always getting your fishing rod and go hunting. Yurts are actually not rare at all but finding one to stay in isn’t going to be easy, the best place to look is likely to be Portugal but be warned most of them are in the middle of nowhere.
So whether you love the smell of compost from a cottage or love going away to strange places, there is always a holiday available to you.
