From thirty Rock to The Cosby Show, no show is holy when it comes to X-rated remakes of popular sitcoms and flicks. But why are flicks like Not the Bradys XXX the new gold rush in porn? According to one director, it is not the sex that’s the ticket ; it is the humor. ( yes, right. ) And what sacred TV cow does he need to take hardcore next? The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Yowza. Maybe because it shows the exact opposite side of all those characters we knew and loved? Like, Full House was so OTT clean, I might love to see Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky get it on, simply to see what that was like.
Porn corporations have obviously hit on a promoting bonanza with their X-rated takes on favored sitcoms. Hardly a month after releasing their naughty take on The Office and exclaiming production of an adult version of Scrubs, these porn firms have begun work on Seinfeld – A XXX Parody, that will bring Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer into the world of adult entertainment. Seinfeld actually has a cornucopia of material that can easily be fodder for porn-like eventualities ; the characters were inveterate serial daters, and ideas like “sponge-worthy” and “the contest” are already naughty even in their TV-friendly versions. In addition, Fans of NBC’s Must See television format of the ’90s have been itching for a pals reunion for ages, and it looks like the beloved sitcom is finally set for a revival as a grown up team. I think the most superb movie is the spoof of The Cosby Show, which came out in June. They had 250,000 views of the trailer on YouTube, which is pretty dazzling. The Huxtables were like the black Brady Bunch, and so they took 2 of the most delightful shows in America and had a lot of fun with them. Then they took one of the most dysfunctional families on TV with Married With children that just came out. And it turned out to be the most complete movie and definitely one of the finest adult funny videos of all because that show is just so amusing. It’s just line, line, zinger, line, line, zinger. So we had to write it appropriately.
Porn Parodies have started to take the porn industry over. Adult funny videos have attacked the planet. In addition to parodies based primarily on Hollywood movies, this July, Friends and other sitcom-based porn films have started to pop, some apparent ( 3′s Company practically writes itself ), others less so ( Seinfeld? Honestly? ) have begun to get a pornographic overhaul.
