South Park: The pint-dimensioned, excited babies of South Park, Colorado, are so wild about the new R-rated Terrance and Phillip film that they start copying its impolite discussion. This empowers the parents of South Park to mount a promotion contrary to the film’s megastars-and native land, Canada. Acute, ludicrous and yes, foul-mouthed satire, based on the irreverent Television succession; kindled by awesome melodies by Parker and Marc Shaiman. Cast includes Matt Rock, Mary Kay Bergman, Isaac Hayes, George Clooney, Brent Spiner, Mike Magistrate, Notch Rhodes, and Stewart Copeland. (81 minutes, 1999)

The Passion Of Christ: This movie deals with the day of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Betray by Judas he has been arrested, and taken to the leaders of Pharisees. China Girl: Atmospheric romantic thriller in reference to warring Chinese and Italian youth cliques in N.Y.C., with Panebianco and Chang as megastar crossed lovers. Days become weeks, with no resolution in site for poor Viktor.

Bugs Bunny’s Third Film: Yet a new collection of Warner Bros. cartoons, with more superior-than-normal connecting material. Some excellent shows with Daffy Duck, Tweety and Sylvester, plus Ditch Jones’ classic “One Frog Late afternoon” minus the punch-line, although these are still more superior seen as individual briefs, and not as an ersatz characteristic film. The movie was generated by Friz Freleng. (76 minutes, 1982)

Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy  Fun filled adventure-comedy-horror film with bad girl Marie Windsor making life miserable for Abbott and Costello. A live mummy spices things up.. Bud Abbott, Lou Costello, Marie Windsor, Dan Seymour, and Richard Deacon all star in this movie. (1955 Comedy)

Sky jacked Sky West: This film takes an interesting look at a sub culture in Austin Texas. Like the beatniks of the 1950s and hippies of the 1960s these people have created their own subculture. They’re loaded with opinions and notions, none of which they appear ready to act on. Shot in a free form fashion, and characterizing a big cast of nonprofessional entertainers. That’s author-director Linklater as the youthful guy in the taxi. Cast includes Richard Linklater. (97 minutes, 1991)
