Bring your own furniture

An art show that hasn't been thought of before which is due to be released on July 26th next year. The art show will be hosting Sit-in, a chance for artists of any level to show off their work. In a novel twist on conventional exhibitions, photographers will be asked to hold up their work, meaning that they may wish to get comfy.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that you should go out there and buy office furniture and bring it down or even bring in your executive office seating in from your work. Instead the gallery is recommending that people bring in their own blankets or benches to the event which only lasts half an hour.

After the actual event has finished the artists will be given the chance to mix ideas and swap photos with eachother in a bid to help the local art community.

This is a very unique opportunity for aspiring designers and artists alike to show off their work in a large art gallery for absolutely nothing! You don’t even have to go through all the red tape in order for your work to appear in the gallery. It really is a great chance for some people.

The curator of the Greenwich gallery said that they have no idea what the day will pan out like as they have never had anything like this before.Along with a very odd collection of furniture for people to sit on there will hopefully be a wide range of artists looking to share their ideas with everyone else.

It is important to remember that the show is not solely focused on office seating but the art that people are mixing with each other.Mixing and bouncing ideas off of eachtother is what art is about and many people will be excited to finally get to this event.
