A Card Trick That Makes Changes The Color Of Your Card Magically.

Practice doing this card trick and you will get better at it and it will become easy. New tricks are always confusing because they are new but your friends will be left amazed and excited once you get really good at it, it will be much easier with practice.

Item you will need to get through this trick:

Two decks of cards will be needed and they have to be the same size, they also must have different colors on the back for instance one with a blue back and one with a red back. Select ten cards, five from the red deck and five from the blue deck, it does not matter what cards you get out.

To begin:

You can begin by alternating one blue backed card and then one red backed card making five pairs of cards in your hand. Show the cards, number and all, to your friends and be sure to hide the red and black backs from them. Tell them to point to one of the cards in the pile you have fanned out. You then causally drop the chosen card from your hand onto the table face up by separating the cards at the chosen one. The cards that come before the chosen card will be in your right hand and the rest will remain in your left hand. While you have dropped the selected card onto the table no one will be paying attention to your hands so that is when you can put the right hand cards under the cards in your left hand. People can see the front of the cards only, so take care when handling them.

Prepare to be dazzled:

This part of the trick is the skillful part. Even though there are some cards with red backs and some with blue, the people must believe that they all have the same colored backs. To create this illusion, after you have moved the right hand cards behind the left hand cards, make sure all the cards are tightly stacked. The cards are still face up.  Pull the top card off and turn it over showing the back side. Now you can proclaim, “All cards have the same backing color.” While saying this reveal the back of the pile of cards in your left hand have the same color backing. Placing both decks of cards beside each other on the table you can tell them that their card has magically changed its color.

If the cards you showed were red on the back when you turned them over, then you can tell the audience the chosen card has changed color and is now blue on the back. Display the amazing miracle. Miraculously the chosen card has changed color.  Astonishing!

My thoughts in closing:

As long as you practice this trick a few times and make sure that you stack the deck carefully without revealing the back sides too soon this trick will amaze your audience. The back color of the card depends on the audience, it is whichever one they choose. The card they choose will not matter. When the right hand cards were put behind the left hand cards you reassigned the order.
